I qualified as a primary teacher in 1969. At my first placement I had a class of top infants. We finished the day with story time and these are a sample of the stories I told the children, all of which had a moral to them. I hope you enjoy reading them. Synopsis: Craig wants to get his mum a lovely birthday present. When he finally finds the perfect gift he falls ill. Will he be able to get the present on time?
Synopsis: Debbie is afraid to go to school, but she discovers an interest in clocks and telling the time. Her mum buys her a watch of her own, but she has a mishap with the watch on the way to school which could have serious consequences.
Synopsis: Mr Grumpy is a old man who likes to laugh at others misfortunes. A pixie comes along and treats Mr Grumpy to a dose of his own medicine. The moral of the story is not to laugh at others. Instead be kind to everyone.
Synopsis: A story about how an apple thought he was the best, but by doing so he alienates himself from everyone else. What will the apple do now he is on his own?
